Holiday Postcards to Incarcerated Students

Six years ago, The Last Mile started a tradition of handwriting and sending holiday cards to every student enrolled in our nationwide programs.

This initiative was created to strengthen the connection between The Last Mile and our students. We understand the emotional challenges of incarceration during the holiday season and wanted to remind our students that they are in our thoughts. These postcards have become symbols of hope and a reminder that they are valued members of The Last Mile community, fostering a sense of belonging even in challenging times.
