Your donation is tax deductible. Computer and Technology Donations Spare laptops or iPhones are incredibly valuable. TLM alumni leave incarceration with the desire to continue their education and work effectively. To be successful and stay connected, they need a phone and laptop. In some cases, they may also need a Wi-Fi hotspot. The Last Mile will gladly accept any computer that is compatible with the manufacturer’s most recent OS. Our Ideal computer donation is an Apple or ChromeOS laptop. For Apple computers, newer than: MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2012) MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch) Late 2012, MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012) For ChromeOS: Any Chromebook that has not received its “final software update” notification.
