TLM on-the-job support

The Last Mile’s workforce re-entry program handles the placement of post-incarceration candidates in jobs where they continue to learn and advance. In fact, 90% of TLM’s alumni and returned citizens pursue further education while maintaining an 86% employment rate.

To support their success at an even higher level, Next Chapter, our partnership with Slack, The Kellogg Foundation and FreeAmerica is building a year-long apprenticeship program to train and mentor graduates. In doing so, we will create a blueprint that other companies can use to train and hire talented people who have been incarcerated.
