Michael Harris Michael Harris is a businessman and philanthropist and the inspiration for several non-profit organizations while he was incarcerated in San Quentin State Prison. Michael is best known for founding Death Row Records, one of the most iconic record labels in the history of music which included Tupac, Snoop, Dr. Dre, and MC Hammer. Michael’s greatest impact has resulted from his work while was incarcerated, resurrecting and funding San Quentin News, and helping to establish The Last Mile which has become the leading prison education program in the world. Most recently, Michael created Community One World, a nonprofit organization that supports community organizations that focus on social justice and prison reform. Michael has also established Philanthropy TV (PTV), it is the first entertainment and media company that attracts, directs, and connects philanthropic dollars to causes, both nationwide and around the globe slated to be launched in FALL 2022. Harris now sits at the helm of the new Death Row Records as Chief Operating Officer.
