The types of people who volunteer at San Quentin State Prison are enlightened, committed, and compassionate.”
The Last Mile Fall 2012, on Quora
We appreciate your interest in helping The Last Mile program thrive. Volunteers are needed for a wide range of skills and expertise. Some areas in which you can help virtually include administrative tasks, data entry, research, web development, and business plan development.
Our network of mentors visits with program participants to help them refine their business pitch and give feedback on their plans. They are invited to attend individual sessions and Demo Day.
If your company is interested in hiring the graduates, go to Collaborative Benefit for in depth information about the candidates.
